Who am I

               

I am an Accredited Professionally Trained Counselling Practitioner, with an Advanced Diploma in Person Centered Counselling, this means that I hold the view that through counselling all individuals can reach their own potential and the skills required to resolve or change their presenting problems.

                                                 

The majority of my work has been counselling and working along side the local community. I have been working in the health sector for over 25 years and have experience in palliative care and bereavement. I have been working in private practice for eight years.  I have experiance in most counselling areas

                              

I have a General Certificate in Online Counselling and trained to work online using 'e-counselling' (email) and Messenger (real live talk) facilities .

I am Executive Membership Secretary to the Association for counsellors and therapist working online (ACTO) we offer CPD & support to counsellors and therapist who are working online. http://www.acto-uk.org/

                                                  

I am the Chairman for Reading Therapies Group where we offer continuous professional development (CPD) for therapist working throughout Reading and Berkshire area www.readingtherapiesgroup.co.uk

               

                  

I offer both face to face and Online Counselling.  I work face to face in quiet consulting rooms in Reading Berkshire.
